Fees
Nurtured Possibilities Psychology Services is committed to providing affordable yet highly professional services. We keep our standard fees well below the recommended rate from The Australian Psychological Society (APS) of $330.00.
Standard consultation (50mins) is $240.00.
Letters and reports may incur an additional cost. Nurtured Possibilities Psychology Services do not provide medico-legal reports.
Medicare Rebates
A range of psychological conditions can be treated under a Mental Health Care Plan which is available via your GP. Please speak to your GP to determine if you are eligible for a Mental Health Care Plan. Your GP determines how many sessions you can receive under this scheme, to a maximum of 10 sessions per calendar year.
The rebate for a clinical psychologist is $145.25 (from July 2025 onwards), making your out of pocket cost $94.75 per session.
Private Health Funds
If you are a member of a private health fund, you may be eligible for a rebate for psychological services. The amount of the rebate you are entitled to will vary depending on your health fund, and your level of cover. Please contact your health fund to find out what your entitlements are for psychological treatment.
